Wellspring Academy Trust, a community of 28 individual, unique and highly effective academies across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, have been using our Risk Manager software to support with its facilities management across all of its sites.
How did Sypro help?
Since implementing Risk Manager three years ago, Wellspring Academy Trust has been able to have a system in place that allows the trust to track compliance regulations and which contractors and suppliers are preferred, as well as monitor maintenance on each site.
The helpdesk function also allows reactive maintenance to be logged and allows a level of detail to be put on the system to make sure tasks are clear and can be understood by the relevant team members. For example, if a noticeboard needs fixing, staff can say exactly where it is by allocating a room and uploading pictures as required to make it clear what, where and when it needs to be done, as well as by who.
The system ensures that a consistent set of statutory or best practice checks are being completed at each location and logged, allowing for a high level of consistency across all of Wellspring Academy Trust schools. As well as this, all estates staff members can access the system, which ensures everything is monitored and avoids anything being missed or forgotten about which can happen, for example, when a staff member is off on annual leave or sick and isn’t accessing their emails.
