From her interest in reading and playing computer games, to her day-to-day responsibilities, we sat down with Contract Manager‘s Customer Services Support Engineer, Leah Andrew, to find out about how her Sypro journey has gone so far.

Hi Leah. To begin with, what were your initial thoughts of Sypro and the wider The 55 Group?

My initial thoughts were that The 55 Group would be a great way for the companies (including Sypro, Loop, Pagabo and Tequ) to work together to be able to offer our customers the support they require for their projects from start to finish.

Excellent! What did you do before joining the company? Any skills that you thought would benefit you in your role?

I had worked in retail/hospitality for about 8 years before I joined the team here, and the experience I gained with assisting customers has definitely been a benefit to me here!

What do you get up to outside of work?

My partner and I have recently got a pug puppy, so he’s been keeping us pretty busy! Aside from that, I’ve always loved reading, playing computer games, and have discovered in the past year that I really enjoy running.

What part of your role have you enjoyed so far? Any tasks / projects that stand out?

I feel I’m lucky to be able to communicate with and assist a really lovely customer base. Since we’ve launched Contract Manager V3, we’ve been able to onboard a lot more projects of different contract types and styles, which has not only benefitted us, but our customers.

Good stuff! To finish off, what’s the next step in your job that you wish to achieve?

I would love to learn more about the development side of things – the way a website is built has always fascinated me, so having the resources to learn more from the developers would be a bonus.

Thank you for taking the time to talk to us, Leah.
